Medical Student Uses AI to Create Fake MAGA Female Influencer
Note that this is NOT an anti-MAGA post; they just happen to be the target of this particular attack. This is what happened. It is an indication of how completely a single human can spin the narrative.
Registered nurse Emily Hart was pro-Christian, pro- Second Amendment, pro-life, anti-abortion, anti-woke and anti-immigration. A perfect match for the MAGAs.
The only problem is that Emily does not exist.
“Emily” is actually a 22 year old male medical student from India.
He raked in thousands of dollars from conservative men.
Fictional nurse Emily often dressed in a bikini or engaged in stereotyped conservative activities. She (or rather he) garnered millions of social media views, and, in alignment with her pro-Christian persona, sold softcore AI generated porn.
The guy who created this knew he was scamming people. He said he tried to create a left-learning version of Emily, but, in his words, “found Democrats know it’s AI slop”.
He made money from his millions of views of Emily, subscriptions to non-existent Emily’s porn content and selling anti-woke apparel.
He said, using AI, it was only taking him 30-50 minutes a day to create this “AI slop” that his subscribers and visitors viewed. He said that he made way more money than a med student in India could make, even in a professional job.
He said he was making thousands of dollars a month selling MAGA-themed T-shirts like “PTSD-Pretty Tired of Stupid Democrats” and AI-generated nude photos.
“I was basically doing nothing” and “it was just flooded with money”.
He used Google Gemini AI for advice and decided to create a “hot girl” crafted for the “MAGA/conservative niche” after the software told him that “the conservative audience (especially older men in the US) often has higher disposable income and is more loyal”.
Apparently, he is only one of many MAGA influencers that are really just an AI and which continue to grab the attention – and money – of Republicans online.
What this means is that you should consider what you see or read online, without regard to its apparent slant, with a critical eye as, apparently, you can make thousands of dollars a month spending 30-50 minutes a day, creating “AI slop”. He did it as a side gig as a med student and you know that med students are busy people.
And if you don’t think that China, Russia and others are doing this at scale, you should understand that now.
