Anthropic Expands Mythos to 150 “Trusted” Orgs

Up until now only a couple of dozen companies worldwide have legally had access to Mythos. And while it has been very helpful, it is only a drop in the bucket.

Anthropic has expanded that universe by about 150 new companies. They are located in over a dozen countries and all have to be approved by Anthropic before they get access.

Among those granted access are critical infrastructure like water and power and software developers that maintain code used by governments worldwide.

Not only can Mythos help find bugs – it has found tens of thousands of them, but it helps fixing them. Without Mythos it would likely take software developers years to fix the tens of thousands of bugs that have already been found. While we don’t have metrics yet, using Mythos to help create fixes and then test them will reduce the time to fix dramatically.

While this is definitely a work in progress, the potential to dramatically improve software reliability is high.

On the other hand, for companies that do not use these tools to hunt for bugs are in a world of trouble.
