Fortinet urges customers to patch their firewalls to stop attacks that are being actively exploited right now by hackers.
The bug is in Fortigate’s FortiOS SSL-VPN module, which is critical to many organizations.
Given the amount of attention that this bug has generated, it is likely that every single Fortinet firewall is currently being scanned for ones that are not patched.
Every day that your firewall is not patched increases the likelihood of it being compromised.
If you have not already patched your firewall, this should be a very high priority.
