CISA Adds “Insights” Website for Solar Winds and Others

CISA is one of the few agencies that seem to be doing cybersecurity well, contrary to some opinions.

They have created a CISA Insights page for the Solar Winds breach (What Every Leader Needs to Know) with information useful for executives. There is a brief description of what happened and a set of recommended actions “for today”.

It contains several links including one to Supply Chain Compromise, which is how the Solar Winds and other attacks can happen.

While these pages, and others on the INSIGHTS web site are high level and designed for managers, they link to the detailed alerts from organizations like US Cert and NSA.

The Insights Home Page contains links to a variety of subjects from cyber insurance to incident response.
